Reporting directly to the Vice Chancellor and working closely with the Vice President for University Human Resources in New York, the Associate Vice Chancellor for Human Resources leads the NYUAD HR team, and ensures that NYUAD HR operates in coordination with and pursuant to the policies of New York University as well as US and local law. The AVC-HR oversees the strategic and day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department for NYU Abu Dhabi including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Learning and Organizational Development, Employee Immigration and Relocation Services, and Employee Relations to recruit and retain a world-class and diverse workforce of staff and faculty in support of NYU Abu Dhabi’s mission. Select and manage vendors. NYU’s New York-based HR department provides additional HR support and services as needed.
The AVC-HR will also develop and lead the HR team to ensure a high level of capability as an effective and responsive internal consulting and administrative group that partners closely with internal and external stakeholders including internal NYU AD units, NYU-NY units and government.
