This is a full-time live-in position. The Residential & Student Life Assistant will live in NYU Berlin’s Student Residence in Berlin, Kreuzberg, in a modern, spacious, fully furnished single apartment. This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities and offers an opportunity to sharpen various organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills within a short period of time. The Residential & Student Life Assistant’s primary role is to monitor and promote the well-being of the students and support a sense of community. The Residential & Student Life Assistant serves as a source of expertise on the local socio-cultural context. They organize events that promote a sense of community and belonging among the students. Their portfolio of tasks also includes administrative work related to residential life, extra-curricular programming, including orientation, learning journeys, events, etc. This is a 1-2 years fixed term role, depending on the availability of the finalist.
