The Coordinator of Academic Services works directly with the Site Director, the Academic Advisor, and the NYU Berlin Academics Team to promote academic life for students and lecturers and ensure that they feel they belong to the NYU Berlin academic community. This entails helping create and carrying out the academic orientation program for students, planning co-curricular and extracurricular activities as well as events based on student requests or current developments, upholding NYU’s academic policies, monitoring students’ progress, and advising students with a range of academic questions or concerns. The Coordinator of Academic Services also provides support to freelance lecturers and academic staff by advising them on the use of teaching technology and NYU student and academic culture. Moreover, the Coordinator of Academic Services provides administrative support to the Site Director and aids in the production of written academic communication, documents, and presentations.
