The Program Manager, Student Life, supervises the effective, high-quality delivery of all aspects of student support programs and ensures that students comply with NYU policies, procedures, and expectations. Further, they are expected to collaborate with diverse local communities in designing inclusive learning opportunities for students. They report to the Site Director and liaise closely with appropriate key staff at NYU.

Required Education
Masters degree
Required Experience
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience within student activities, residential education and student life.
Evidence of high-quality leadership skills and staff supervision. Experience in designing meaningful, relevant, and accessible programming for diverse student cohorts. Experience in emergency response.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bilingual German/English. Work permit for Germany. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population within a multicultural environment. Must possess excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills and the ability to quickly and effectively respond to emergency situations. Knowledge of standard office software package. Nights, weekends, and holiday hours may be required. Limited overnight travel is required
Preferred Experience, Skills and Abilities
Must be well versed in quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data in NYU systems and be able to strictly follow data privacy and security procedures for data handling and analysis to ensure adherence to legal and institutional standards.
